I’ve always been a fan of the underdog – the unsung hero. David and Goliath… I’m rooting for David every time!

Any time I walk into a parking garage, big box store, sports stadium, or the like, I always look up. Why? Because that’s where the underdogs live. That’s where cool shit is – the unsung heroes of the facility making things work. Cable tray, strut, beam clamps, fasteners, supports, it’s all up there, and my fascination is a personal sickness. If my family is with me, they’ll say, “Stop it, no one cares!” Well, I do, and the rest of the team at CTI, I assure you, is similarly afflicted.

In an industry thick with corporate consolidation and an over-emphasis on shareholder value and individual career gain, let us re-introduce a seemingly foreign concept: Let’s put the customer first, and let the rest of the crap sort itself out! We will do better. We will be better.

I was raised to care more about others than myself and to help solve problems even if they weren’t my own. Whether throwing haybales or rebuilding an old farmhouse, I learned early the value of perseverance, flexibility, and family. Concentrating on these fundamental values has served as a compass throughout my career and serves as the cornerstone for CT Innovations.

Having cut my teeth on the electrical and mechanical industries right out of college, I quickly noticed that nothing is black and white, and straight answers rarely exist. The electrical and mechanical industries present a myriad of obstacles, difficulties, and grey areas, which turns even the most eager individuals away. However, the CT Innovations family brings with it an elevated level of persistence and deep passion for deriving challenging solutions and providing excellent service to our customers.

It's more than a profession; it's a way of life. We recognize the importance of keeping business simple and prioritizing the customer above all else. Let’s Do Better. Let’s Be Better.

Service is a foundational core principle that has resonated throughout my career. As a United States Air Force veteran, I have had the pleasure of solving complex problems in complex environments. With over a decade of experience in the electrical/mechanical industry I take pride in knowing that CT innovations encapsulates the spirit of servitude. By putting our customers first, while providing a superior product, and engineering capabilities CT innovations is poised to be a force multiplier in the electrical/mechanical market.

I consider myself a lifelong learner and as such innovation, strategic growth, and the implementation of strong business financial strategies align with who I am personally. I enjoy the challenge of new product development and global financial risk management. It is with that understanding, I can truly appreciate what the CT innovations family brings to the market.

The ease of doing business and being able to make the right data driven decisions in real time is priceless in our industry. It is our call as business leaders to seek out and integrate new technology and deliver that value to our customers. This thought process is central to CT Innovations core values.

Let's Do Better. Let's Be Better.

Treat people as you want to be treated. It’s the gold standard of human interaction for a reason. To me, this translates into being seen and heard. Isn’t that what we all really want – to know someone cares? I learned long ago the importance of listening and caring for others, and customers are no exception.

As a business, it’s simply short-sighted to focus solely on the bottom line and immediate gains. My goal is to listen to the customer – to see and hear, and sometimes decipher, the true needs. Many companies have lost sight of that. CT Innovations is different. Developing lasting relationships with coworkers, customers, and partners is an essential part of how I define success. It is important to me that these relationships are forged through great service, honesty, and open communication. We are nothing without our customers. Let’s Do Better. Let’s Be Better.

Ever since I started crawling to pick up my father’s screwdriver and take my toys apart to see how they worked, I wanted to know what makes things tick. Now, I wonder why things are designed and built the way they are and if they couldn’t be designed better, simpler, and safer to help everyone. My passion is to listen, learn, understand, and work with others openly to find ways to do things better. People have always thought me a little crazy to be so passionate about pieces of bent metal, excited to walk around construction sites to see mechanical infrastructure solutions. But that’s paid off. As a result, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences and explaining why a better solution is only a thought and discussion away. There really is no better feeling in business than knowing you helped a customer implement meaningful and beneficial solutions.

I remain a believer in keeping business simple, understanding customer needs, providing solutions that meet those needs and keeping promises. Every day I strive to do better, to evolve and to use my learning to be better in helping others.

I always need to know the fine details of what makes something work. This has been the case since I was a kid working in the shed and carried through to working through the business processes of a company. No matter the scenario, I dive in deep to figure out what’s happening and what’s needed. This often leads to realizing things aren’t always as they appear to be.

Look at any large company website and you will almost certainly find some jargon about the customer being their top priority. If that were truly the case, then most decisions companies make would be prioritized around the customer needs. I rarely find that to be true.

A lack of clear priorities and the corporate hive-mind have smothered what customers have access to in the electrical and mechanical industries. What should be common sense practice is often looked at as the enemy in our manufacturing industry. Stocked material creates a more predictable and reliable project timeline for customers. However, over-analyzed spreadsheets in the corporate world interpret inventory as a negative impact to its shareholders, forgetting, once again, the customer.

The CT Innovations team will show you that, to us, the customer really does come first every time because we always strive to Do Better in order to Be Better.

In everyday life, there are ample opportunities to challenge yourself. While exploring alternative perspectives can be uncomfortable, it enables growth and insight by challenging entrenched beliefs.

In order to produce something truly innovative, engineers must not only draw on their past but also push themselves beyond their comfort zones. Sticking to old methods will only create old products. New ideas need new methods which in turn need new experiences.

At CTI, we believe that innovation is a driving force with the ability to transform the way we live and do business. Without it, markets like ours have simply become stagnant, and congested with monotony. Here at CT Innovations, we are dedicated in delivering reliable and efficient engineering solutions that will uphold public interest, reduce complexity, and exceed customer expectations.
